Wendy's Ramadhan Deluxe!

On my first holiday to USA, the first burger I had was from Wendy’s. The generous portion and delicious, juicy beef patty burger was unforgettable and reminds me of my amazing time there!
I also remembered my uncle being excited when Wendy’s first came to Malaysia.. it was the Mont Kiara outlet near my cousin’s high school.  :)


 





They don’t just sell burgers anymore – for this special Ramadhan month, Wendy’s is offering Ramdhan Deluxe sets!


Adding a local touch to the burger joint, Wendy's introduced aunthentic rendang-styled 100% juicy, thick Australian beef with coconut rice, potato rendang, crispy pappadom and slices of cucumber.
Instead of opting for beef, one could also go for the chicken rendang.

Ramadhan Deluxe Beef Rendang RM8.90
The rice was nice and fluffy with coconut aroma, served piping hot with the rendang (I opt for beef). Beef rendang that came with the set was really juicy, and it was nice that the serving was generous with the huge chunks of juicy Australian beef.


Coming from a non-local restaurant, I'm pleasantly surprised at how well the rendang turned out. It tasted delicious sweet and spicy, with the meat being soft and tender. I'm glad they also did not hold back on the heat. I love my rendang spicy! :)

Also, introducing a new addition to the menu at Wendy's..
Onion Rings ( Add-on: RM2. N/P: RM4.50 )

I think onion rings are really great snacks, especially when served fresh like how Wendy's does it.

The onion was sweet and soft, encased within a flaky, super crunchy batter.
Bad for my heart, good for my soul!


Next up, we had Wendy's famed
Dave's HOT 'N JUICY 1/4 LB. Single
RM 12.85 Combo Meal inc. fries & carbonated drink.

My brother thoroughly enjoyed the thick 100% pure Australian beef patty, melted cheese and condiments that went with it. The buttery toasted bun held the combination together perfectly.

The nuggets at Wendy's were meaty and not too greasy compared to the ones I've had elsewhere.
Great for dippin' and snackin'. My brother happily gobbled most of them.


And of course, what fast food meal is complete without fries?
The fries at Wendy's are natural-cut and made of Russet potatoes with their skin intact.
Very crispy and addictive, for sure. Comes with all the combo options. :)


And, of course, a sweet ending to our meal...

Frosty's come in two flavors: Vanilla and Chocolate.
My pick would be Chocolate. 
Sometimes I do enjoy grabbing a cone on the go. It's so cheap at only RM1. :)
But that day I was a little more greedy hehe.
